Cabaret

Link Gentry
Campy gay piano bar previously located in a faux-elegant space on Rush St. is downtown's only upscale gay bar. It's a nice piano bar for older folks (music starts at 5:30pm), with corporate types coming for cocktail hour. Theres a basement video bar for the kids. Amateur open-mike night is Sunday.
Link Gentry on Halsted
Boystown gay and lesbian piano bar.The first time I ever went into the Gentry was by accident. It was last year on my birthday and we were out and about on Halsted Street at 1 am on a Wednesday. I had to use the bathroom and ducked into the first open place I saw. I'm glad we walked in there, because what we found was a cause for celebration.
Link Lincoln Restaurant
Offers comedy shows on Friday nights.
Link Lunar Cabaret
Live music is featured Thurs - Saturday. Call for details.
Link Davenport's Piano Bar & Cabaret
Only a stone's throw from the raucous nightlife at Wicker Park's North-Damen-Milwaukee intersection lies a small spot where bombastic rock is replaced by lounge and cabaret. Everything inside Davenport's is swank: from the blue velvet walls and recessed lighting to the single-malt Scotches and pricey champagne. The front room serves as a piano bar where servers and patrons alike are liable to break into song.
Link Subterranean Café & Cabaret
Since 1996, Subterranean has stood out against the likes of the Double Door, Border Line and Holiday as one of the best bars around the six corner Milwaukee, North and Damen intersection, solidifying this corner of Bucktown as one of the coolest areas in the city to hang out. Subterranean appeals to those looking for either a loungey scene to enjoy a cocktail, or a swanky place to check out some live music. In fact, Subterranean offers one of most unique stage areas around. While Subterranean begins on street level and ascends two stories above that, the name may more accurately refer to nightcrawler patrons who come out everyday after 6:00 p.m.
